Infusion Therapy
Infusion Therapy centers around delivering medication intravenously, such as via needle or catheter. These substances can include antibiotics, nutrients, hydration, pain medication and chemotherapy. Often such therapy is performed in the privacy of home or another alternate care setting by skilled caregivers, following strict dosing requirements. Conditions that may require infusion therapy include cancer, dehydration, gastrointestinal diseases and immune deficiencies. A qualified physician who oversees the patient’s care orders a prescription for the therapy.

Airrosti
Airrosti means “Applied Integration for Rapid Recovery of Soft Tissue Injuries”. Airrosti Certified trained providers concentrate on injured muscles healing themselves in a short time, as well as the rapid healing of the (now distorted) fascia surrounding the muscles, tendons and ligaments that can contribute to long-term problems. The goal is 95% pain-free movement in just a few visits. In addition to muscle healing, emphasis is on returning connective tissue (fascia) back to its non-distorted state. This removes any chance of long-term chronic conditions that often accompany soft-tissue injuries.

Retinal/IOP
Retinal/IOP is used to document intraocular pressure (IOP). Fundus photography utilizes a retinal camera to photograph various parts of the eye and recognize/monitor the progression of diabetic retinopathy over time. This eye disease is a complication of diabetes and causes damage to blood vessels in the retina, possibly leading to significant vision loss and often blindness. The advanced retinal/IOP photo documentation is also needed to monitor macular degeneration and retinal neoplasms, or to detect glaucoma, multiple sclerosis or other problems associated with the central nervous system.

Nerve Conduction Velocity
Nerve conduction velocity tests are designed to evaluate nerve damage in arms and legs…such as numbness, tingling or weakness in arms and legs. NCV measures nerve activity between two sites of stimulation or between a stimulus and a recording site. It is then determined how long it takes for the impulse to travel from the stimulated site to the muscle. People with diabetes sometimes suffer from neuropathy, or nerve damage due to high blood sugar levels. Treatment is based on symptoms, and ranges from medicine to braces. Beyond analyzing nerve activity in diabetes patients, NCV is helpful in diagnosing carpal tunnel syndrome and metabolic, inflammatory and immune neuropathies.
